What does Download mean?

The Download button starts a temporary retrieval of public media from the linked platform so you can preview it in your browser. That step does not save a permanent copy on our servers. When you choose to keep the file, your browser saves it locally — the same as any normal web download. The file is saved only when you choose a download option in your browser.

HOW IT WORKS

Drop the link into the field and click Download. We detect the platform, fetch the media, and show a preview — nothing is stored on our servers.

Save the file

Preview your file, then save it to your phone, tablet, or desktop. The file is saved only when you choose a download option in your browser.

Each network uses different URL shapes and Share menus. Start with the downloader overview to see what links work, open a format-specific page when you know the media type, or follow a copy-link guide if Share is buried in the app.
