Common questions
x.com or twitter.com — which link should I use?
Either hostname works as long as the URL includes /status/ and the numeric post ID. Copy the link from Share → Copy link or the browser address bar.
Can I download GIFs from X?
Yes. Animated GIFs on X are served as MP4 files. The preview shows them as video — save the file to your device like any other clip.
Why did a quote tweet fail?
Paste the URL of the post that actually contains the media. If the video lives in the quoted post, open that post and copy its status link instead.
